ZWU Managing Director: Dr. Michael Eisinger

ZWU

The ZWU currently has 97 members consisting of university professors, academic staff and students who work in water and environmental research or directly for the ZWU. They are members of the University of Duisburg-Essen and other universities and institutions. The current Chairman is Prof. Torsten C. Schmidt, and the Institute is coordinated and managed by the Managing Director Dr. Michael Eisinger. Its main focus is on acquisition and coordination of major consortium projects, particularly in integrated water research at all stages of the urban water cycle (cf. www.uni-due.de/zwu).
