Outlook

The first goal is to extend the application of 7-Tesla technology to clinical diagnostic workups of the entire body (e.g. head, joints, vessels, abdominal organs). So far this technology has been used almost exclusively in the brain because of unsolved technical problems in other body regions (e. g. the torso).

The second goal is the interdisciplinary application of 7 Tesla technology to explore cognitive processes. Various disciplines, e.g. communication sciences, economic sciences, and educational sciences, will be able to utilize the cognitive research potential of 7 Tesla.
