Mathematics

The Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Duisburg-Essen is one of the top mathematics faculties in Germany in the nationwide CHE Research Ranking 2009. The Faculty will continue to make every effort in the future to strengthen and consolidate its main areas of research and thereby defend this leading position in the CHE ranking.
