National and International Conferences

IN-EAST sees itself as part of the national and international research community and scholarly discourse. The annual conferences of the German Association for Social Science Research on Japan (VSJF), which focused on mobility in East Asia, and the Chinese Economic Association (Europe) were held in Duisburg in 2016. IN-EAST also organised a number of academic workshops.
