Cooperation and International News

The Erwin L. Hahn Institute was founded in 2005 under a cooperation agreement between the University of Duisburg-Essen and Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands). This German-Dutch collaboration has continued to flourish to the present day. Particularly close ties exist at the University of Duisburg-Essen with the Faculty of Engineering and University Hospital Essen and on the Dutch side with Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Radboud University Hospital, and the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging, Nijmegen. Long-standing cooperation partners continue to be the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg and in industry Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen, as the technology partner.
