Cooperation and International News

The EKfG is part of a national and international research network. Ongoing research projects and the participation of the College members in ­various scientific committees provide numerous opportunities for cooperation with international partner institutions in and outside Europe; the joint research and networking projects include the University of Birmingham, Adam Mieckiewics University, Poznan´, the University of Coventry, the IE Business School, Madrid, the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, the University of Maastricht and Radboud University Nijmegen. Non-European cooperation exists within the Japanese Excellence Cluster “Gender Equality and Multicultural Conviviality” under the direction of the University of Tokyo and with, among others, Harvard University, and in connection with a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) ­application with the University of Taschkent. Further networking activities take place within the Conference of Women’s and Gender Studies Institutions in the German-Speaking World (KEG), the Gender Studies Association Gender e. V., the Women’s and Gender Research Network NRW with Prof. Anne Schlüter as their spokeswoman, as well as within the International Research Universities Network (IRUN) and the European Platform of Women Scientists EPWS.
