IWW Water Centre

IWW is one of the leading research institutes for all issues relating to water use, including the safety, reliability and efficiency of the water supply, quality and hygiene in drinking water, process water and pool waters, and innovative technology and analysis. The scientific work, water analysis and consulting skills of this affiliated institute of the University of Duisburg-Essen are recognized on a national and international level. More than 80 scientists, engineers, economists and technicians work for the IWW at the regional branches in Mülheim an der Ruhr in North Rhine-Westphalia, Biebesheim in Hesse and Diepholz in Lower Saxony. The Institute’s clients include water suppliers, industry, swimming pool operators, ministries and authorities.
