Center for Fuel Cell Technology

The interdisciplinary "NanoEnergieTechnik Zentrum NETZ" project provides the ZBT with a good network of connections to the various chairs at the University of Duisburg-Essen engaged in nanotechnology research. This is an ideal basis for future cooperation and the development of new fields of research, which with innovative materials and nanostructures will lead to an improvement in the properties of the energy conversion and storage devices researched and developed at ZBT. Understanding the interactions between nanoscale structures, material and energy-related properties is important both for fuel cells and lithium batteries.
